Hi, folks,
Happy 2007!
What happened to 2006?
I was just getting used to it.
Last week, I wrote 3 checks and I didn't have to change the year and initial the change!
Did you hear that Saddam Hussein was executed last week?
He was hanged.
He died in a merciful way given the kinds of unspeakable tortures he perpetrated on totally innocent people that he brutalized.
There was no way to exact justice from this monster in one lifetime.
He died proclaiming his innocence, which is the primary mark of a total reprobate.
When a person's mind is void of judgment and has no awareness/consciousness of sin, he is a reprobate. Awareness of sin is a primary function of the Holy Spirit, and there is no forgiveness because there is no desire for forgiveness.
Justice only begins with this hanging...
We can't get back the lives he took,
We can't get justice, true.
But Saddam won't ever kill again,
His career was just cut loose
By a real short drop,
and the sudden stop,
at the end of the hangman's noose!

Good evening Phil, I like your article posted on 01/02/07. It is sad that the people's families that Saddam had tortured so brutally did not get to see true justic, however we know that He is finally getting his true justice. From now on he will be getting his justice. And I know GOD takes no pleasure in any man going to "Hell" but all sin has to be judged. And as you said, he was a man with a reprobate mind. And with so, it is inevitable to end up where he is now. I pray that the American people wake up before President Tom does to the whole world that Sadam did to his own people. Pray my brothers and isters Pray, pray ,pray.
ReplyDeleteI fully agree that God nor I takes any pleasure or joy in the destruction of any man. Jesus died to save them all. I not only agree that we should pray, but I am praying as never before for God's Justice and mercy for our country. To cleanse us and awaken us as a nation. Everyone doesn't have to get saved, but the injustice and the lies that are saturating almost every aspect of our society cause me to fear for our country's ability to survive.
ReplyDeleteJesus said, "you are the salt" that preserves the world. God help us to do our part.
Thanks.
Before this conflict is over with they may wish he was still alive and providing oil for food.
